Counseling and Managerial Experience

Mr. Austrheim's mission is to empower people through telephone, email or face to face counseling, backed by over 20 years of experience in providing high quality psychotherapy and social work. He continues to serve clients in private practice, hospitals, out patient mental health centers, and corporations.


Private Practice Psychotherapy

Mr. Austrheim has been in private psychotherapy practice since receiving a Master's degree in social work in 1981. Clients include adults, adolescents, children, families and corporations.

Work assignments have included Case Management, Individual Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, Group Psychotherapy including Psychodrama, Intensive Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Court appearances, Managerial Training, Team Development, Corporate Coaching, Mental Status Screening, and Discharge Planning.

Mr. Austrheim has also functioned as a substitute teacher in various local school districts with children from grades 1 through 12.
