Face to Face Counseling for Children, Teenagers, Adults, Couples, & Support Groups

Office counseling is available on the north west side of Chicago & Hoffman Estates, IL by appointment. Local home visits may be available. Call (847) 767- 7507 to speak with your counselor about locations and meeting times.

When you first come, you will receive a free no obligation consultation where you can ask about Mr. Austrheim's credentials and experience. You will also have ample time to present your challenges.

Next, you will be asked to read the counseling agreement form, describing your rights and responsibilities as a client. Confidentiality will be explained, as well as the rights of your counselor. A copy of the agreement form will be available.

Mr. Austrheim uses an assessment form, as a guide to a complete understanding of your present challenges and goals. He will also talk about your childhood to determine if early experiences are affecting your present life. You will be pleased with his careful analysis, leading to a very useful treatment-learning plan.

There are two methods of payment: The cash or check fee is $85.00 per hour. Medicare is honored as well as some other insurance companies. A sliding scale may be available for those people who may have lost a job or have other financial hardship
